{ Ian & Jayce } - Christmas times 'a comin'!

Ian & Jayce are quite possibly the cutest little siblings I've had the privilege of working with.  Natesha (the mommy!) won a free micro session with me from the JMP black friday sale and she wanted to use it on her boys :)  It was super cold that day, but we definitely powered through it.

Natesha had this AWESOME and most adorable idea ever for their session.  She was like, "I want to put them in their pj's and have them wearing santa hats for their session.  Do you think that would look weird?" <--or something like that, lol.  And I just stopped and go, NO!!!!  That's a great idea and cute!  I seriously could not wait.  And it definitely paid off!  These two were more than adorable, but smiling just about the whole time.  Nothing better if you ask me :)

Ignore the random logo, I'm going through a phase right now where I'm changing my logo and I'm trying to figure out what works best for my style.  I'll eventually get it right, haha.

I hope you all have a very Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays! :)

{ Christmas with the Caldwell's }

I've worked with Tabatha before, but the first time was only with her girls.  And they were so easy to photograph and so wonderfully great to work with.  This time was for the whole family's Christmas portraits and I loved working with them all on this chilly day.

Also...if anyone EVER wants to know any ideas for dressing up for Christmas family photos, take their outfits for example.  They were dressed perfectly; accessories, colors and EVERYTHING.  I told Tabatha, "I'm so glad that I don't have to tell you what to wear or suggest how to coordinate everything because you already do that!"  And with that, it was much easier catching wonderful photos of this great family.

I can't wait to work you all again in the future as I have earlier this week and earlier this year :)

I know this wasn't as detailed as previous posts, but honestly, that's all I need to say.  They are a simple little family, but a beautiful one at that.  The only thing I could really comment on was the fact that the father wouldn't take off his hat, but there was no question in that, so I didn't ask, hahaha.  He's a hat man, and I know TONS of men like that, including my father.  =P

This will probably be my last post before Christmas, so I hope you all have a wonderful and merry Christmas.  Here's to hoping that you spend a great time with your family and friends.  Just cherishing this time with my family is definitely enough and I couldn't ask for anything more for Christmas :)

Merry Christmas everyone!

Kyle - "I don't wan't a hairdryer!"

The title is very puzzling to those of you who weren't there for his little Christmas session.  We done Kyle's session at his home near all of his presents, tree, stockings and with his dear mommy.  Sara, Kyle's mom didn't want him out in the cold, so we chose to do in their apartment.  He is SUCH a sweet & adorable little boy.  Did I mention he was adorable?  GAH!  I wish I could just take him home with me to take photos of him and pinch his cheeks off.  Then I would send him back home, haha!  (Just kidding!)

In all seriousness, this is the second session that I've done with Sara & Kyle and I loved working with them both.  Kyle's a little fiesty, as in he can't sit still in one spot for no longer than 30 seconds, haha.  But he's a little kid, and I expected that from him.  Even chasing him around his living room a bit, it was all fun.  He is such a sweet little boy and his mommy doesn't help any.  She's just as sweet and wonderful as he is :)

And as far as the title goes?  Sara told me that he liked unwrapping presents, whether or not they were for him, lol.  So she said some gifts under her tree that didn't have names on them (for Christmas parties she was going to this year) and she let him open a few of them.  All of them were these cheetah (or zebra, I could be wrong) print hairdryers and Kyle thought they were something for him, each and every single time.  So whenever he would unwrap the present enough to see what it was, he would be sitting there saying, "A hairdryer?  I don't want a hairdryer!" Haha....it was too cute for words.  He's such a doll, if you can't tell already =P

But anyway, I enjoyed this session with Kyle & Sara and I can't wait for many more!

{ Alec Sawyers - the little Angry Bird }

This little man, Alec, is now 3 months old and BOY has he grown!  His parents, Ivan & Olivia, are dear friends of mine and I've worked with them numerous times before, so needless to say, we're pretty warmed up around each other =P   And just to start everything off, Ivan told me a couple of weeks before the session that they had a super awesome idea for their session, but it was a secret.  UGH!  Why would you tease me like that Ivan?!

Come to find out, they were all in an angry birds theme and I stood there in awe saying, "That is the coolest thing ever".  Alec wore his little Angry Birds hat with a onesie that had angry birds on it WITH his awesome name.  Ivan & Olivia both were wearing Angry Birds' shirts as well.  It fit their personalities so much and it made this little family THAT much more cute.

Although we were strapped with time and daylight, we made this little Christmas/Angry Birds themed session work.  I had such a great time with all three of them and so did Hailey (my daughter).  I can't wait for Alec's 6 month session; he'll be capable of doing more things that he hasn't done yet so more ideas are in order! :)

OH, and ignore the fact that my logo is completely different on these photos.  My graphics card in my editing computer has died and I'm having to just go with the flow on things right now =/  Oh well!  The show must go on! lol.

Who doesn't like free? NOBODY.

So, I got to thinking about this year and my, oh my, has it flown by!

                It's already December and Christmas is 23 days away...and yes.....I countdown.  I'm awesome like that.

I will be having a Christmas sale on prints, so if you didn't catch the Black Friday sale, then here's your chance to catch another great sale for prints :)

Prints will be buy two, get on free........YES.  I said it.  FREE.  Who doesn't like free?  NOBODY, that's right.

This sale will start probably next week and may or may not last long...depends on my mood and my schedule, haha.  I will be out of town next weekend as I'll be in South Carolina visiting with some of my in-laws for Christmas.  Those lucky turds get to go to New York for Christmas!

So anticipate because this sale will be here and be gone.  I probably won't have any really good sales on prints for a while.  PLUS!  This will be great as Christmas gifts as well :)  This will be for past clients only.  If you have scheduled a session for the month of December, you are welcome to take advantage of this great deal as well!

I also only have a few spots left available for the year and that's so crazy to say, but given that this is the last month of the year, it's expected, haha.  But if you're interested in last minute photos, feel free to contact me either via Facebook, email, or by calling me :)

Have a great weekend everyone!  And spread the word about the sale, you know it'll rock  ^_^
